I had the Karma dream again last night and I was wondering if you all can help me understand something better and maybe through a discussion shed some light on this mind boggling subject. During the Violet Purple Meditation Jove spoke about the Law of Karma as an absolute. He said "The Law of Karma is an absolute. It’s the law that brings cause and effect into action. You may never know what part of the law you are experiencing, the cause or the effect; it all becomes a blend in many activities. There is a balance, it is universally absolute."
Here is my question
If Karma really is an absolute then how can we really release and ultimately change things within ourselves are we not forced to experience them due to the boomerang effect of Karma? For example several lifetimes ago someone did something terrible to another and he is reaping the Karma for it in this life time by having a real hard time of it. Will all the spiritual development really make any difference as the Karma has to be balanced hence every action has an equal and opposite reaction? One could then just go along with whatever happens in their life and justify it as Karma collecting a debt and this is why their life sucks at the moment and that all the heartache and difficulties they are experience are the aftermath of repaying Karma? Or do you believe that this person should continue a spiritual quest to create better Karma in the next lifetimes or several after that? I’m a bit confused should you live in the moment here and now or do you keep pressing forward and evolve your soul in the hopes of creating better Karma so the next lifetime or whenever won’t be such a struggle.
Thanks
